OHSAA crowns champions across seven divisions. The Final Fours moved back to UD Arena in Dayton for the 2025-26 season after experimenting with split sites. Sectional, district, regional, and regional final games run February into early March; the state semifinals and finals fill the second and third weekends of March.
Seven divisions means seven champions, more than nearly any other state. Ohio runs deeper qualifying brackets than most because of how many member schools feed in.
Best for: Ohio member schools earning their way through the sectional grind. Recruiters use it to lock in late evaluations on borderline D-I prospects.
Tradeoffs: It's a closed state series; you can't buy in. Travel for the Dayton Final Four can stretch teams from far northern Ohio.
