About the Tournament

The National Prep Tournament

The National Prep Tournament is a three-day high school and post-grad basketball tournament held each March at FCP Sports in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. We host a capped 12-team field, with every game streamed free on YouTube and archived afterward so college coaches who can't travel still have access to the film. The aim is straightforward: well-run games, real competition, and a recruiting backbone built around the stream.

Founded by Florida Coastal Prep Sports Academy, the tournament was created to fill a need for high-quality, well-organized events that put the athlete experience first. Every detail is designed to mirror the college game—from NCAA regulation court and professional referees to official scoreboards and live-streamed broadcasts on YouTube.

Whether you are a top-ranked program looking to test your roster against national competition, or an up-and-coming team ready to make a statement, the National Prep Tournament is where reputations are built. With college scouts from D1 through JUCO programs in attendance, every game is an opportunity to be seen.

Powered by Florida Coastal Prep

Florida Coastal Prep Sports Academy is a basketball development program based in Fort Walton Beach, FL. NBA veteran and 1994 All-Star Kenny Anderson is on the staff. We focus on developing student-athletes on the court and in the classroom, helping players move on to college programs at every level — from D1 through JUCO and NAIA.

FCP Sports operates out of a full-court basketball facility at 33 Jet Drive NW in Fort Walton Beach, where we run year-round training, academics, and competitive seasons for high school and post-grad athletes. The National Prep Tournament grew out of that work — a March weekend in Florida where high school and post-grad programs from across the country come together for a tight, well-run weekend of basketball.
