Summary

Springfield, Missouri's national high school showcase. Eight teams over three days at Missouri State's Great Southern Bank Arena. The 2026 edition was the 41st annual and featured five teams in MaxPreps' national top 10. More than 60 future NBA players and 370 D-I signees have come through it — Wall, Cousins, Tatum, LaMelo Ball, Beal, Barrett, Hansbrough.

What makes this tournament distinct

One of the deepest NBA-feeder events in the country with documented history. Springfield is well off the East and West Coast circuit, which gives it a unique field every year.

Who it fits

Best for: Nationally ranked programs with NBA-track players. Recruiters who want a January national event without traveling to either coast.

Tradeoffs: Springfield airport is a regional hop — most teams fly into Kansas City or Memphis. Field skews national, so local Missouri programs not yet ranked won't get in.
