Summary

The top division of New England prep school basketball. Eight programs qualify for the Class AAA bracket, played in early March. Most NEPSAC schools include a post-grad year, so the field mixes traditional senior-year HS players with PG athletes.

What makes this tournament distinct

One of the only championships in the country that explicitly mixes high school and post-grad basketball. Recruiting traffic is heavy — this is where many D1 staffs spend their March.

Who it fits

Best for: NEPSAC member schools competing at the AAA tier.

Tradeoffs: Qualifying-only — limited to NEPSAC member schools. Closed to outside programs.
